STORY :

The last summer of the 20th Century. That day, the human beings learn that they are not the only ruler of the planet Earth.
The appearance of the giant living creatures “Kaiju's” and the ultimate existence that destroys all monsters: Godzilla. Through the battle against kaiju's that lasted for half a century, human beings has experienced continuous defeat, and finally plans to escape from the Earth. And in 2048, only those who were selected by the A.I. managed under the central government boarded the inter-sidereal emigrant spaceship “Aratrum” to head for “Tau Cetus e”, the planet beyond the distance of 11.9 light-year. However, the environmental condition differences between that of the Earth and Tau e, which they finally arrived after 20 years were far beyond the predicted numbers, and was not an environment considered to be habitable by human beings.
The young man on the emigrant ship: Haruo, who saw his parents killed by Godzilla in front of his eyes when he was 4 years old, had only one thing in his mind for 20 years: to return to the Earth and defeat Godzilla. Shut out from the possibility of emigration, as the living environment in the ship deteriorates, the group of “Earth Returnists” led by Haruo became the majority, and determines to head back to Earth through a dangerous long-distance hyperspace navigation. However, the Earth they have returned has already passed the time of 20,000 years, and has become an unknown world with the ecosystem reigned by Godzilla.
At the end, will human beings win back the Earth? And what will Haruo see beyond his fate?

某天，由于巨大生物“怪兽”与专门驱逐这些怪兽之怪物─哥斯拉的出现，使人类发现原来地球的支配者并不是他们。
“怪兽”与“哥斯拉”持续战斗了半世纪，而作为夹心的人类则不断饱受双方战争波及，最后只好计划离开地球，从而远离这场怪兽间的战争。
2048年，由中央政府管理下的人工智能所挑选出的受选者们乘搭恒星间移民船，打算移居至距离地球11.9光年的“鲸鱼座τe”。然而，经历长达20年旅程的人类，在到达这颗星球后才发现居住环境条件相比当初预计的还要恶劣许多，难以让人类在此安居生存。
另一方面，幼时曾目睹双亲遭哥斯拉杀害的青年晴生，在这20年的时光中不断想着重回地球杀掉哥斯拉为父母报仇。当得知星球难以居住后，晴郎随即成为移民团中主流的“地球归还派”的中心人物，并决定进行危险的长距离亚空间航行重回地球。然而，当他们回到地球时，地球已经经过两万年的岁月，成为一个以哥斯拉为地上生物系顶点的未知世界。


Di musim panas akhir abad ke-20. Pada hari itu, manusia dapat tahu bahawa mereka bukan satu-satunya pemerintah di atas planet Bumi.
Kemunculan raksasa  “Kaiju” yang terulung hadir demi memusnahkan segala makhluk: Godzilla. Menerusi pergelutan menentang kaiju yang berakhir selama setengah abad,  manusia banyak kali mengalami kekalahan, dan merancang untuk lari dari Bumi. Dan pada tahun 2048, hanya mereka terpilih oleh A.I.dikelolakan di bawah kerajaan pusat naiki kapal angkasa emigran ikut bintang “Aratrum” untuk menuju ke “Tau Cetus e”, planet melepasi jarak 11.9 tahun cahaya. Namun, perbezaan keadaan persekitaran di antara Bumi dengan Tau e, akhirnya mereka tiba sesudah 20 tahun luar daripada angka dugaan, dan bukan alam yang dianggap sebagai boleh didiami oleh orang.
Pemuda yang hadir di kapal penghijrah keluar: Haruo, nmpak ibubapanya dibunuh Godzilla di depan matanya sewaktu usia 4 tahun, cuma seperkara terlintas dalam hatinya 20 yang lepas: untuk pulang ke Bumi dan tumpaskan Godzilla. Lekang daripada kemungkinan beremigrasi, kerana suasana di sekitar kapal semakin buruk, kumpulan “Pemulangan ke Bumi” diketuai oleh Haruo menjadi majoriti, lantas bertekad untuk bertolak balik ke Bumi menerusi pengemudian jarak panjang hiper-angkasa yang merbahaya. Akan tetapi, Bumi pemulangan mereka mencecah tempoh 20,000 tahun, lalu berubah kepada dunia tidak dikenali dengan dengan ekosistem diperintah oleh Godzilla.
Akhirnya, manusia mampu menawan Bumi semula? Dan apa Haruo bakal melihat lebih jauh daripada nasibnya?
