STORY :

Masaru, is a second year Junior High student, and is undefeated in battle, He meets the Digital Monster Agumon, who has escaped from DATS, a secret government organiza-tion. Despite terrible first impressions, the two become best friends by talking with their "fists". With others, Masaru and Agumon work to investigate various incidents involving the Digital World and Digital Monsters, to try and get to the bottom of things.

故事发生背景略微是在未来了。网络世界「Digimon World」和「Digital Monster」的存在被确认下来。数码世界和数码兽研究的第一人•大英（だいもんすぐる），始努力探知数的生态，然而通过研究，得知其中有少数的恶性数码兽存在。因此政府为了对数码兽采取对策，设立了「数码世界特别搜查部队•DATS「DigitalAccident Tactics Squad）」。大门教授的独生子大门
大（まさる）被物色DATS的以，与托和淑乃（よしの）組成了3人小組，共同対抗悪性数列島！

Masaru merupakan seorang pelajar sekolah menengah tinggi yang lebih suka berebut hidangan 3 beras. Apabila dia bertemu orang yang kelihatan kuat, dia tidak boleh membantu tetapi mencabar mereka untuk perlawanan. Oleh kerana kuasa terpendam beliau, tiba-tiba Agumon muncul, dia menyertai DAT mencari lawan yang kuat.
Walaupun Masaru adalah anak pihak berkuasa No.1 penyelidikan Digimon, Profesor Suguru Daimon, dia benar-benar putus asa dengan komputer dan mesin.
