STORY :

The film follows Guan Ning, who has been searching for his lost daughter, who he believes was kidnapped by traffickers. Ning is contacted by a powerful corporation that hires him to kill a young author who has written a fantasy novel. In the novel, Redmane is the ruler of a village that he commands with an iron fist. A young hero is on a quest to end Redmane's rule. Somehow, the novel appears to be impacting life in the real world, and therefore the corporation wants to stop the author from continuing his work.
